About The Position
Oak Glen Post Acute is looking for a dependable and service-minded Maintenance Assistant / Driver to help keep our facility running smoothly and support our residents with safe, reliable transportation. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- A genuine interest in working with seniors
- Basic maintenance skills and a willingness to learn
- Strong communication, reliability, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including light repairs, routine upkeep, and safety checks
- Transport residents to and from medical appointments safely and on time
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment inside and outside the facility
- Support the maintenance team with daily responsibilities and special projects
- Provide a friendly, calm, and reassuring presence for residents during transport
