Your Role as a Maintenance Apprentice: Key Responsibilities: In addition to supporting the clerical work for the maintenance department, the Maintenance Apprentice will be trained to complete lite repair work within the facility.
Requirements
- Intermediate math skills
- Computer skills
- Tablet/iPad skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- basic maintenance knowledge and customer service skills including telephone.
- 2+ years experience utilizing hand tools in a mechanically related position.
- 1+ year experience in an administrative or purchasing position.
Nice To Haves
- Navision Software experience (preferred).
- Accounting skills a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and office support for the maintenance department.
- Assist with full maintenance inventory management, ordering parts, scheduling/entering Preventative Maintenance (PMs), completing PMs, organizational task, etc.
- Complete tasks in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Train and learn how to complete lite repair work within the facility, maintain and perform preventive/predictive maintenance tasks.
