This manager coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. The manager is also responsible for ensuring the Environmental Management Systems (EMS / ISO14001) is established, implemented and maintained; and, is authorized to, and responsible for, reporting to the plant management. How you will do it In partnership with the plant leadership, this role is responsible for all Environmental Management Maintains OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management system Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities. Analyzes plant HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other infrastructure. Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions. Develops long range plans, conceptual designs, capital outlay requirements and CAD documentation for facility. Formulates and coordinates projects specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents. Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications. Acts as liaison to Borough, public utility, environmental, and energy agencies. Reviews real estate contracts for compliance with government specifications and suitability for occupancy. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services. Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance. Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
• Minimum of eight (8) years of Maintenance and Facilities experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and timekeeping tools (e.g., Kronos).
• Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint.
