About The Position

The Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling service-based solutions, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for securing retail maintenance business and cultivates contractual maintenance business. This role combines consultative sales expertise with strong account management skills to meet customer needs, expand existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities. The Maintenance Account Manager collaborates closely with operations, finance, and service teams to deliver high-value service offerings that align with customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience required.
  • Achieves all aspects of annual quota.
  • Basic understanding of business finance
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling and prospecting plans.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service and closing technique skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer knowledge
  • Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and background check

Nice To Haves

  • 3 Years of industry related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales revenue and new account quota, selling multiple product lines including Retail Maintenance and Complete PMA and Guaranteed Maintenance Packages
  • Work directly with all facets of the organization to best serve the customer base.
  • Create opportunities to build and grow books of business.
  • Utilize CRM tool to stay organized with prospects, customers, forecasts, and day-to-day operations.
  • Be accountable to the team, collaborate on internal and external solutions and be empowered to make decisions daily.
  • Meet with Velocity customers daily to ensure their satisfaction of all Velocity’s Products and Services
  • Working with internal teams to solve critical customer issues quickly.
  • Devising solutions to accommodate a complete, positive, and long-lasting Customer Experience
  • Creating maintenance and fleet solutions that best suit the client.
  • Building strong relationships as a trusted transportation advisor and partner
  • Identify, qualify, and close maintenance sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct client presentations, proposals, maintenance demonstrations, and customer reviews.
  • Generate accurate forecasts, quotes, and pricing proposals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Build long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, contract compliance, and improvement opportunities.
  • Address customer concerns with urgency, coordinating internal resources as needed.
  • Understand customer operational needs and recommend customized fleet solutions.
  • Collaborate with service teams to design maintenance packages that deliver measurable value.
  • Stay knowledgeable about maintenance offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Work with service delivery teams to ensure commitments are met and services are executed to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with marketing to support campaigns, events, and service promotions.
  • Provide feedback to management to support continuous business and product improvement.
