About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment to support safe and reliable operations. Inspect machinery to identify potential issues and proactively recommend corrective actions. Install, align, and maintain mechanical components such as motors, bearings, conveyors, and pumps. Complete preventive maintenance tasks and accurately document work performed. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Capability to work safely with tools, machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
- Dependability, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
