About The Position

CTG is hiring a Mainframe Developer with strong COBOL and z/OS expertise to support critical healthcare systems for our client. Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 12 months What You’ll Do: Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM Translate business requirements into technical solutions Support CA-MMIS / healthcare claims systems Perform unit, integration, and regression testing Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams What You Bring: 5+ years of mainframe development experience Strong skills in COBOL, z/OS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS Experience with healthcare or claims processing systems (preferred) Familiarity with REXX, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe tools Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Requirements

5+ years of mainframe development experience
Strong skills in COBOL, z/OS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

Experience with healthcare or claims processing systems (preferred)
Familiarity with REXX, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe tools
Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus
