Main Bank Cashier
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Cage Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the controlling and accounting transactions for the main bank. Other duties as assigned by management. Responsibilities Main Bank Cashiers provides excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. The Main Bank Cashiers may perform the duties of a Cage Cashier based on business volumes and needs. During any shift that a Main Bank Cashier will be used to perform as a Cage Cashier they will not also work as a Main Bank Cashier at any time during that shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three to six (3-6) months of cash handling experience is required; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Also required are frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting.
- Must be able to work in a loud and noisy environment.
- Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino is a smoking establishment.
- Access to general gaming floor.
