About The Position

The Mailroom Clerk is accountable for the daily operations of a site. This role is responsible for performing contracted office services, which may include: hospitality and mail services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field (B2B and/or technical environment preferred).
  • 1+ year of customer‑facing work experience.
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of technology.
  • Strong tactical thinking skills.
  • Ability to present to small groups.
  • Moderate problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic customer service skills.
  • Basic technical aptitude.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily operations of a mail room, copy center, or scanning facility.
  • Operates office equipment including PCs, copiers, multifunction devices, imaging equipment, and mail equipment.
  • May be responsible for courier services, reception services, switchboard operations, shipping & receiving, and processing/delivering mail.
  • Serves as the primary point of formal contact with the customer on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for effective implementation and management of Service Excellence Programs.
  • Operates required equipment and software efficiently to meet service-level agreements.
  • Manages cost of goods by effectively using company materials and supplies to support profitability.
  • May perform routine functions including creating/completing work orders, contractor monitoring, inspections, reporting facility issues, and providing general support as needed.
  • May interact with contracted vendors, facility management, and building occupants.
  • May be responsible for maintaining office supply inventory and re-ordering supplies.
  • May assist with conference room coordination and A/V equipment resource management.
  • Maintains positive internal working relationships by communicating professionally with all employees.
  • Collects and provides data to leadership and customers, including monthly reporting as required.
  • Ensures financial responsibilities are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
