About The Position

SPS Global is seeking a Mailroom Associate to manage onsite mailroom and business service center operations in Lake Mary, FL. This role ensures accurate mail processing, efficient shipping and receiving, and a consistently high level of customer service for client employees and SPS team members. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational flow while representing the company with professionalism and attention to detail. This role focuses on mail operations, service excellence, and business support.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and office technology
  • Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work assigned hours determined by management
  • Professional demeanor and service-driven mindset
  • Ability to learn and navigate required computer systems
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of prior work experience
  • Experience in mailroom, office services, or shipping/receiving environments

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and log inbound mail and packages
  • Process outgoing shipments and verify packing documentation
  • Track deliveries using chain-of-custody systems
  • Distribute mail and notify employees of deliveries
  • Determine appropriate shipping methods and packing materials
  • Operate postage meter, folding/inserting machines, and copy equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of mail and shipping activity
  • Submit service requests and work orders as needed
  • Monitor and replenish office supply inventory
  • Maintain a clean and organized Business Service Center
  • Provide reception, concierge, or hospitality coverage when required
  • Proactively seek additional tasks during downtime
  • Deliver consistent 5-star customer service
  • Serve as point of contact for mail and package inquiries
  • Build professional relationships across teams
  • Maintain professionalism and composure in all interactions
  • Train backup staff and provide guidance on procedures
  • Escalate sensitive matters when appropriate
