With 22,000 clients, including 93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRD brings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customer touchpoints into meaningful moments of impact. 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm Wallace Ave Perform routine, but varied, clerical duties on the manufacturing floor in accordance with standard procedures Provide clerical support by recording, entering and verifying data from a variety of sources and documents Maintain records: compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and perform routine clerical tasks related to manufacturing Operate machines that automatically addresses, weighs, and ties into bundles printed publications, such as magazines, catalogs, and pamphlets, for mailing according to zip code Review manufacturing instructions to determine type and size of publication scheduled for mailing Make adjustments to guides, rollers, loose card insterter, weighing machine, and tying arm, using rule and hand tools Records production according to customer name and zip code, and machine down time due to malfunctions or lack of work Processes and ships outgoing small package parcels such as UPS, Federal Express, and DHL Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilize a general understanding of other departments and functions May be responsible for data entry, reporting, checking or verifying of information, generation of reports and responding to data requests Responsible for maintaining department files May assist with production planning and special projects

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year, but 3 years preferred, of previous related experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment
  • Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function
  • May instruct junior level operators how to complete the required corrective adjustment
  • Typically, corrective adjustments performed require the operator to consider the symptom(s), possible causes and remedies
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hours
  • Walking/standing, 6-7 hours
  • Bending/stooping, 2-3 hours

  • Preferred previous data entry and payroll experience
  • Previous office experience in a fast-paced environment
