Department: Job Description Summary: Position Responsibilities Records all certified insured and registered mail according to postal regulations. Identifies appropriate codes on out going metered mail. Files records in organized manner. Reports monthly and weekly accountable traffic. Assists with unloading and sorting post office pick-up. Maintains and updates attending and department mail slots by group. Updates cost center information as given by department head. Identifies residents and fellows and assign mailboxes. Organizes incoming mail and post to correct slots. Labels envelopes for physician mailing. Stuffs and sorts contents for mailing. Audits physician groups and addresses. Assembles bulk mailing by zip code to 5 digits. Prepares paperwork for bulk processing according to postal regulations. Weights articles to determine changes. Assists window patrons with correct information and directions in a clear and efficient manner. Provides appropriate mailing instructions. Answers questions professionally and correctly. Assists with mail sorting from post office including pick up and drip off from the departments as needed. Qualifications License/Registration/Certification Valid Florida Drivers License Education High School Diploma or equivalent degree required. Experience 3 years experience in mail handling. Requirements

  • Valid Florida Drivers License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree required.
  • 3 years experience in mail handling.
