About The Position

As a Mail Entry Specialist at Gurstel Law Firm, P.C., you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to data entry and document processing. This includes data entry of correspondence into the database system in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and client directives. You will also process incoming emails and faxes, which involves both data entry and document correspondence review, and ensure the accuracy of information entered into the database. A key part of the role is uploading correspondence and relevant information to clients via client portals, email, or other means. Additionally, you will perform general clerical duties such such as scanning, photocopying, collating, and faxing. The position might offer the flexibility to work remotely with some office time, subject to approval from a Manager, Director, or Human Resources. Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. is a multi-state litigation law firm representing creditors in all aspects of the legal collection process, headquartered in Golden Valley, Minnesota, with offices across several states including Arizona, California, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah, and Wisconsin. Requirements

  • Responsible individual who is able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to Detail.
  • Superior problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability.

Nice To Haves

  • Legal field certificate/2-yr degree (experience may be substituted for education).
  • Background in Retail Claims and Creditors’ Rights Laws preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry of correspondence into our database system in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures and client directives.
  • Processing of incoming emails and faxes, both data entry and document correspondence review.
  • Review of correspondence to ensure accuracy of information entered into the database system.
  • Uploading correspondence and applicable information to clients via client portal, e-mail, etc.
  • Perform general clerical duties including data entry, scanning, photocopying, collating, and faxing.
  • All other duties as assigned.
