About The Position

Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen, P.C., is a large, fast-paced law firm seeking motivated, organized, and reliable individual for a full-time Mail Clerk position in our Peoria office. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MAIL CLERK As a Mail Clerk, you will spend most of your time handling electronic and paper mail in an office environment - sorting, organizing, and sending. You will independently and correctly scan, save, and email documents. You will efficiently and thoroughly manage digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence. You will excel at processing reports in both electronic and paper form, providing excellent customer service to Firm employees. You will assist in mail pick up and delivery in the Peoria area. You must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. You will fill in as needed for the Firm Receptionist. As the Firm's first impression in person or on the phone, you will provide excellent customer service to all colleagues and clients. QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A MAIL CLERK High school diploma or equivalent required Prior office or law firm experience a bonus Exceptional attention to detail required Must have strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office Outstanding organizational skills Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Despite a fast pace and short timeframes, you excel and are efficient and thorough with multiple large volume tasks.
