The Mail Clerk position is responsible for all responsibilities required to make sure all incoming and outgoing mail flows throughout the campus efficiently. This is achieved by sorting, processing, metering and maintaining of internal databases to ensure that mail services are provided with the highest level of service. Function/Duties of Position Receive and sort inter office and all classes of USPS mail. Meter and prepare all outgoing USPS mail (Data Entry) this includes first class, express, and certified mail types. Assists department lead as needed with routine database maintenance, compiling report data, monthly billing, postage renewal and supply ordering. Assists with maintaining documents and manuals for various compliance requirements. Acts as a customer service agent for all internal and external customers. Identifies, investigates, and resolves customer service issues as needed. Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
