Position Summary The Magnet Program Coordinator serves as a strategic leader and subject matter expert for the organizations Magnet Recognition Program. This role drives initiatives that advance nursing excellence, professional practice, and organizational outcomes aligned with the ANCC Magnet standards. The Magnet Program Coordinator partners with nursing leadership, professional governance councils, and interdisciplinary stakeholders to foster a culture of nursing excellence. As the Magnet Program Coordinator, you will: Lead and coordinate activities required to maintain Magnet Program designation/redesignation and ensure ongoing compliance with American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet standards. Assists Director with submission process and documentation requirements for the Magnet Program application, re-designation evidence submission, annual and interim reporting and the Demographic Data Collection Tool (DDCT) to meet all established deadlines set forth by ANCC. Develop and implement strategies that promote nursing excellence and professional governance across the organization. Facilitate nursing recognition programs, such as the DAISY Program and certification recognition programs, to elevate nursing excellence and promote a culture of continuous professional development. Strategically manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication. Negotiate and execute contracts with internal and external consultants and partners. Communicate program progress and outcomes to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations. Develop and enhance systems and processes for collecting and analyzing accurate and reliable data related to program metrics, outcomes and key performance indicators. Utilize data to identify trends, inform decision making, and demonstrate outcomes for nursing excellence. Coordinate site visit preparation and documentation for Magnet designation. Proactively analyze and respond to environmental trends and issues to promote continuous improvement and achieve exemplary professional practice. Formulate and implement strategic solutions and initiatives aligned with organizational and development goals. Manage and allocate financial and material resources based on comprehensive analysis of needs and goals, aligning with the organizational strategic plan.
