Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in network administration, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • CompTIA Security + CE
  • Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of network operations, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and support of the Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS) in accordance with DISAC regulations and local JSP policies.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of telecommunications network services, including secure and non-secure voice, data, optical, and digital message traffic services.
  • Conduct real-time and predictive assessments on operational impacts due to disruptions on the DODIN and its supporting infrastructure.
  • Input critical and non-critical circuits into the MADSS database.
  • Provide designated on-site MADSS support during normal JSP workdays.
  • Attend MADSS-related Technical Working Groups (TWGs) via teleconference.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing MADSS activities, including circuit status, trend analysis, trouble ticket status, and completion reports.
  • Establish and maintain a trend analysis program on all circuits, trunks, links, and systems.
  • Institute and maintain a Training Program in accordance with DISAC standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DISAC regulations and guidelines for circuit installations and maintenance.
