Machinist - 1st or 2nd Shift
About The Position

In this role, you will set up and operate conventional and CNC machines and machining centers to produce precision components. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
- Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment.
- Strong understanding of machine tooling, fixtures, products, and machining processes.
- Experience reading blueprints and applying GD&T standards.
- Proficiency with precision inspection devices and measurement techniques.
- Basic knowledge of machine programming features.
- Experience working with computers and ERP systems.
- Solid math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines of moderate complexity.
- Produce precision parts while meeting quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
- Read and interpret prints, including GD&T requirements.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
- Identify and report machine, tooling, or process issues.
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with support teams as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
- Work toward and maintain work center guideline certification.
- Promote quality at the source to minimize waste and rework.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support team success through collaboration, openness, and respect.
- Train or assist others as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
