About The Position

In this role, you will set up and operate conventional and CNC machines and machining centers to produce precision components. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
  • Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment.
  • Strong understanding of machine tooling, fixtures, products, and machining processes.
  • Experience reading blueprints and applying GD&T standards.
  • Proficiency with precision inspection devices and measurement techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of machine programming features.
  • Experience working with computers and ERP systems.
  • Solid math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines of moderate complexity.
  • Produce precision parts while meeting quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
  • Read and interpret prints, including GD&T requirements.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
  • Identify and report machine, tooling, or process issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with support teams as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities including 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
  • Work toward and maintain work center guideline certification.
  • Promote quality at the source to minimize waste and rework.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support team success through collaboration, openness, and respect.
  • Train or assist others as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
