The machinist will be responsible for reading blueprints, setting up, programming and manufacturing parts to within the tolerances provided.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years of manual machining experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Programming experience (Conversational as well as ISO)
• Must have hand tools and measuring tools
• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
• Must be able to proficiently use measuring tools, and document the results
• Be available after hours and weekends/holidays as needed
• Manual Machining experience (10 years minimum preferred)

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate manual lathes
• Setup and operate manual cylindrical grinders
• Setup and operate manual milling machines
• Select the proper tooling for the parts being machined
• Measure parts and make adjustments accordingly
• Repair various components on manual machinery as needed
• Clean machinery and work area on a daily basis
• Other duties, as assigned
