About The Position

A well-established precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Machinist to support ongoing production needs. This role is ideal for a hands-on CNC professional who can work independently, interpret complex drawings, and produce high-quality parts with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC mills
• Strong understanding of CNC G-code and the ability to make program adjustments
• Experience with tooling identification, setup, and presetting
• Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings
• Solid knowledge of GD&T
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

• Background in precision machining or regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience producing tight-tolerance components
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced shop setting

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards
• Perform in-process inspections and basic quality checks
• Make minor edits to CNC programs as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Contribute immediately to production with minimal training
