About The Position

Machinists are responsible for operating and maintaining machine tools, setting up equipment, and ensuring that parts meet specified standards. They must have a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents. Machinists should also possess excellent attention to detail, proficiency in CAD/CAM software, and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

• Haas, Okuma and Fanuc Controls experience
• G code and M code experience
• CAD/CAM and/or Surf-CAM experience
• Read micrometers, calipers and tape measure

Nice To Haves

• Tool and die experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining machine tools
• Setting up equipment
• Ensuring that parts meet specified standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawings
• Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools
• Experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)
