About The Position

As a CNC Lathe Machinist 2, the role involves setting up and running repeat or proven parts of simple to high complexity with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ work experience
- Knowledge of CNC programming and G & M code
- Extensive knowledge of accepted inspection practices
- Demonstrated ability at operating computer numerical control machines
Nice To Haves
- Enrolled in or vocational education
- Four years formal apprenticeship
Responsibilities
- Utilize shop paper procedures including updates, signatures, stamps, quantity counting, labeling, and non-conformance related activities.
- Manage DNC communications for uploading and downloading tool programs.
- Inspect and measure parts to maintain statistical quality.
- Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications.
