About The Position

Description Machines parts for equipment. Disassembles and reassembles equipment. Responsibilities Essential Duties : - Operate various machine shop equipment required to produce close-tolerance machined parts to specifications with general supervision. - Efficiently true-up (set-up) assigned machine(s) with less supervision. - Read inside, outside micrometers and other types of precision measuring equipment - Identify parts needing to be machined after disassembly and/or by using sketches, drawing, and/or blueprints. - Select and set-up the proper tools and machine for each job. - Show proficiency in using controls on CNC machine if CNC is used in assigned shop. - Follow all health and safety procedures. Non-Essential Duties: Housekeeping wrap and ship completed parts. Performs other duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times. Qualifications - Effectively interact with internal customers and upper management to ensure that all requirements are being met.
