About The Position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings to machine parts. Builds and repairs parts. Sets-up and operates conventional and CNC machines. Reworks molds and tools damaged in production. Completes related paperwork. Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains a clean and safe work area. Supports and helps co-workers as needed. The incumbent is required to perform any other duties requested by his/her supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years machine shop experience
- Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, geometry, trigonometry)
- Metric conversions
- Weights and measures conversions
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Prolonged standing
- Lifting up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling
Nice To Haves
- Welding ability and CNC experience preferred
