About The Position

A Shipping/Box Builder constructs, assembles and prepares custom wooden crates,
cardboard boxes, or skids to protect products in transit. This role involves
measuring, cutting materials, bracing, and packing items while adhering to
safety protocols.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, basic math for measurement, and ability to follow blueprints or design specification
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with carpentry, woodworking, or using power tools in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and repair custom wooden crates, pallets, or corrugated containers based on product specifications
• Pack, brace, and secure products inside containers to prevent movement or damage during transit
• Safely use hand tools, power tools (saws, drills) and pneumatic nailers
• Inspect finished containers and packed items for quality and accuracy
• Measure materials, check packing lists for accuracy, and apply necessary shipping labels or handling instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned
