About The Position
As a CNC Horizontal Machinist II, you will set-up and run repeat or proven part(s) with simple to high complexity with minimal direction from area Lead or Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ work experience
- Completion of Machine Tool Technology program preferred.
- Enrolled in or vocational education or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for DNC communications upload and download tool programs
- Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to operators and lower-level machinists as required
- Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders
- Inspect and measure parts to maintain statistical process controls charts
