Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Large Horizontal Boring Mill Machinists for projects located in the North Tonawanda, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- 8+ years of prior machinist experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Mastercam Software preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain large horizontal boring mill (LHBM) equipment
- Use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and scales to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Read and interpret engineered drawings and maintain specifications during machining
- Observe machining process and product quality to detect malfunctions
- Troubleshoot, adjust and reprogram machine controls as needed
- Sharpen and replace worn tools
- Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
