About The Position

You will be the Machinist General Specialist for our manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce metal parts and mechanisms with exacting tolerances and dimensions. What You Will Be Doing As the Machinist General Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-quality parts. You will interpret blueprints, determine sequences of operations, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and precision. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes Interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications Determining sequence of operations and making standard shop computations Using machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments Measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions and reference points Fitting and assembling precision parts into mechanical equipment Why Join Us You're a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a passion for machining and manufacturing. Requirements

  • Previous exp setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, tool setting.
  • 3+ years experience.
  • Facility requires special access so the selected candidate must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, SPC and basic knowledge of CNC programming.
