About The Position

Starting Wage: $25.25 + 0.80 shift differential for 3rd shift Shift: 3rd shift, 9:40 pm - 5:40 am Location: 207 Laurel Hill Road, Verona VA What you will do: Demonstrates the ability to adhere to and remain in compliance with all safety rules and PPE requirements Read, understand, and work from blueprints, bills of material, routing sheets, applicable Operational Method Sheets (OMS) documents, work instructions, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction Work with a variety of materials to complete assigned tasks to meet production requirements Operate various tools and equipment to handle, manipulate, and move components, assemblies, and final product within work center Use measuring and visual inspection to ensure the highest quality products and conformity to all prints, work instructions, and Quality standards to eliminate internal and external escapes Maintain required records including quality checklists, inputs into specified electronic systems and reporting of all line issues into the appropriate data collection systems in a timely manner Successful completion of required skills training (crane and tugger operation, fall protection, etc.) Conduct safe operation of equipment as required to complete assigned tasks Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks including cleaning, refilling, and replacing various machine items per scheduling documentation If you're looking for an engaging career with growth opportunities in a supportive environment, you'll love a career at Daikin Applied! Requirements

  • The ability to read and understand written English
  • High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
  • The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE

Responsibilities
