Position Summary: Set up and operate a variety of conventional and/or CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and/or instruments by applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Verify product by inspection of precision parts to meet defined print specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Advance Manufacturing/Machining desired
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of conventional and/or CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and/or instruments
- Applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures
- Verify product by inspection of precision parts to meet defined print specifications
