Manual Machinist
About The Position
We are hiring an experienced manual machinist for a client in Port Arthur. As our machinist you will be operating a variety of equipment including drill presses, milling machines, lathes, and vertical turning lathes. Experience manufacturing and strong knowledge of leak sealing clamps and enclosures is a plus. We are looking for someone with 3 or more years of experience that is eager to improve on their already acquired skills. This is a temp-to-perm position with a very stable and well-established company. This is a Monday - Friday position 7:00-3:30 with some overtime. Pay will be $25-$35 DOE.
Requirements
- 3 or more years experience as a manual machinist.
- Experience manufacturing and strong knowledge of leak sealing clamps and enclosures.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
