Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Waterloo Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Machining Mechanical Engineer, Heat Treatment - 117437 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Machining Mechanical Engineer, Heat Treatment for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, Iowa you will: Lead quality planning activities including process development, equipment process monitoring and control, and sample and product metallurgical inspection for the batch carburizing/hardening operations Work with maintenance, operations, and/or design engineering daily to communicate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to processes, equipment, or individual components Innovate and implement process improvement ideas in support of cost reduction, quality, delivery, and safety initiatives Implement heat treat processes for new components in support of new product development programs and develop routings, layouts, tools, costs, standards, and quality plans as required VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position
