Our solutions support pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns across Oil & Gas, chemical, power generation, and other process industries. Fuel your passion As a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you will provide customers with comprehensive service solutions for their critical rotating machinery assets. You will evaluate equipment health using advanced vibration diagnostics and rotor dynamic analysis, ensuring safe, reliable, and optimized operation of machinery across diverse industrial applications.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with rotating equipment
  • Have been willing to travel extensively (up to 70%) and work significant paid overtime
  • Have a valid driver’s license and passport (or be able to obtain one)
  • Have been eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
  • Have been able to travel internationally and occasionally work on offshore platforms

  • Have an ISO certification in vibration analysis
  • Have a confidence and professionalism when interacting with customers and teams
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts
  • Have ability to perform under pressure and in challenging field conditions
  • Have a Project management capabilities
  • Have proficiency with MS Office and general computer skills
  • Have hands‑on mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Have ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and prints
  • Have a knowledge of rotating machinery operation and control systems
  • Have a familiarity with machinery protection and management systems
  • Have an experience with at least one of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machinery diagnostics, rotodynamic analysis, PdM data acquisition/evaluation, machinery balancing or alignment
  • Have knowledge of Bently Nevada products and services

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing machinery issues using vibration data, operational data, and customer insights
  • Traveling to customer sites to deliver high‑quality technical support and service
  • Preparing timely, detailed reports outlining findings and actionable recommendations
  • Building strong customer relationships and serving as a trusted advisor for rotating equipment health
  • Calculating and supervising the placement of balance weights for machinery balancing
  • Applying and upholding Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all field activities
