Machine Technician (Operator): 3rd shift (9:45 PM - 6 AM)
About The Position
The Machine Technician is responsible for machine set up, machine repair and uniform and consistent machine operation. The Machine Technician Trainee or Machine Tech 1 performs similar duties within a developmental role. All work is performed in a climate-controlled environment. Machine Technicians are responsible for completing Inspector Packer training in order to move through Machine Technician competencies. Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Attention to detail
- Desire for continual learning and personal development
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in English
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring that the output of our process is a quality part
- Review part quality with Inspector Packers to learn if part is within acceptable standards
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts are within acceptable standards
- Receive ongoing training in machine set up and operation
- Perform duties of inspector packer when required
- Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety
- Complete production records as needed
