Machine Technician (Operator): 1st shift (5:45 am - 2 pm)

These values are the cornerstone of Plastic Ingenuity. Role Summary: The Machine Technician is responsible for machine set up, machine repair and uniform and consistent machine operation . The Machine Technician Trainee or Machine Tech 1 performs similar duties within a developmental role . All work is performed in a climate-controlled environment. Machine Technicians are responsible for completing Inspector Packer training in order to move through Machine Technician competencies. Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Attention to detail
- D esire for continual learning and personal development
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficient in English
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring that the output of our process is a quality part
- Review part quality with Inspector Packer s t o learn if part is within acceptable standards
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts are within acceptable standards
- Receive ongoing training in machine set up and operation
- Perform duties of inspector packer when
- Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety
- Complete production records as needed
