About The Position

Command Light has helped emergency departments elevate their scene lighting for decades with an assortment of patented light towers and traffic advisors that help roadway responders illuminate nighttime scenes, keeping both the crew and our community safe. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a machine shop lead/supervisor
Knowledge of CAD-CAM software and programming skills is required
Basic mechanical knowledge
Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
Good communications skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug screening and physical agility test
Work Authorization: United States (Required)

Responsibilities

Manage machine shop associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
Establish machine shop practices and protocols to achieve an efficient department
Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees’ skills
Efficiently schedule machines and operators to best service customer needs and maximize shop performance
Follow safety regulations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure products are completed in a timely manner by productions date
Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur
Other duties as assigned
