About The Position

Machine Shop Maintenance Mechanic:• Maintain proper coolant mixture and levels in all machinery in the shipyard (i.e. Machine shop, R&D, Pipe shop,etc.)• Change machine coolant and dispose of all hazardous waste generated. Change filters• Check and maintain oil levels• Part of a team to in perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on all major equipment

Requirements

• HS Diploma / Ged OR 2+ years of related technical experience
• 2 - 5 years of mechanical experience
• 2 - 5 years experience working around operating equipment
• Available to work all shifts and to support overtime as needed
• Basic tool applications and use
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from policies and procedures
