About The Position

The Machine Service Technician maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsible for day-to-day service, diagnostics, maintenance, repair and movement of company-owned machines. Reports to the Facilities Manager. Requirements

Required Education: High School Diploma
Strong diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills
Knowledge of associated tools and test equipment
Proficient at reading and following d diagrams, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook a plus)
This position requires the use of stairs, and occasionally lifting objects up to 50lbs
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

Preferred Experience: 5+ years installing, maintaining and/or repairing a variety of machinery

Responsibilities

Ensures operation of mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment, machinery, material processing & cutting machines, basic pneumatic tools/lines
Assesses and completes diagnostics and preventive maintenance
Oversees new installations, movement of machines, calibration, set up and leveling
Coordinates services with outside vendors as needed
Responsible for tracking, scheduling and documenting all preventative maintenance in accordance with company policy
Performs other duties as assigned
