Machine Pitch Umpire (Seasonal) for the Recreation Department (Henderson Park/Timber Trail).

Responsibilities

• Officiate baseball or softball games, ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations of the game.
• Make accurate and timely calls on plays, including balls, strikes, safe, and out decisions.
• Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and other officials to maintain game flow and address any disputes.
• Conduct pre-game meetings with team managers to clarify expectations and rules.
• Assess and manage the conduct of players and coaches, applying appropriate penalties for unsportsmanlike behavior.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of game rules and updates to ensure consistent enforcement.
