Working for our team, you can truly make a difference. We are currently looking for Finishing Machine Operators and Printing Press Assistants to join our growing team! Why work at MCC: Compensation: $20 - $23/hour, depending on shift & experience. Shift Times: 12 hour days OR 12 hour nights on a 2-2-3 rotation. Excellent training and support team. Maintains job information in ERP system. Assures quality - realizes specifications of printing job. Performs daily maintenance and preventive maintenance and cleaning of printing press to ensure a clean working environment. Operates a transporter pallet, operates interface of the printing press and Cutstar control panel. Understands Risk and Safety and Hazard and precaution Statements. Responsibilities for Finishing Operators: Continuously checks for print and seam quality. Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification. Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary). Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them. Must understand basic printing and seam related defects. Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek). Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work in the US without company sponsorship required
  • Strong proficiency in the use of computer systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on‐time completion of assigned activities
  • Quality conscious and customer focused
  • Self-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software program
  • Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on an occasional basis
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
