We currently have a variety of manufacturing positions available on both first and second shift at our 1097 Ehlers Road manufacturing facility, where we make high-quality, fine art products that you can be proud of! What we offer: Competitive starting wage ranging from $20-25 per hour with potential for increases! Second shift receives an ADDITIONAL $1.35/hour! Consistent working shift (no swing), plus overtime Saturdays, Sundays and holidays off Comprehensive benefits package following a probationary period You could join our team if you: Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent Can work up to 12-hour shifts, including some Saturdays Have prior machine operating or trimming experience Are enthusiastic about learning and building new skills! Overview of Positions Machine Operator: Operate a wire-binding or pad-making machine with a crew to assist in order to meet and exceed production goals. Trimmer Operator: Operate a trimmer to ensure product is cut to correct size and specifications to meet quality standards and production goals. Sheeter Operator: Operate a sheeter that converts large rolls of paper into a usable format to support wire-binding and pad-machine lines and achieve production goals. Required on All Positions: Be a leader in safety and quality standards Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues Perform machine set-ups and change-overs to different types of products Process, understand, and plan for orders Participate in training of other team members and improvement of own skillset in order to operate multiple machines within the plant Take direction from management, supervisors, and operators Complete varied tasks within the plant, including frequently lifting items of up to 50 pounds and infrequently lifting items of up to 75 pounds. Strong attention to detail and comfortable using computerized equipment Communicate and work effectively with a diverse workforce Operate lift equipment, stand-up or sit-down, at heights of up to 25 feet, as needed

Requirements

  • Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Can work up to 12-hour shifts, including some Saturdays
  • Have prior machine operating or trimming experience
  • Are enthusiastic about learning and building new skills!
  • Must possess basic math skills that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and calculation of averages.
  • Ability to read standard and metric rulers.
  • Ability to use light tools such as wrenches, channel locks, and screw drivers.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and problem solve in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to work individually and in small groups.
  • Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office related software.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable using computerized equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior machine operator or trimming experience is preferred.
