Ready to become a Viking? We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to fill our open 2nd shift Machine Operator position in New Paltz, NY. Ready to become a Viking? Our 2nd shift team works Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am $19 to $23 an hour depending on experience. We take pride in giving our employees the opportunity to grow and develop, so we encourage all candidates to apply! 1 to 3 years of expereince working in manufacturing Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills Willingness to work on multiple pieces of equipment Must be able to read production specs and measure to the 16th of an inch Must have basic computer skills and the ability to learn how to use new programs Prior experience working with inks and PMS/GCMU colors preferred Experience operating a high-speed printing machine preferred Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards Must be able to lift 50 lbs High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience Responsibilities Position Responsibilities: Setting up and running high speed manufacturing equipment Leading team members to meet the machine's production and quality goals Monitor and control machines on a daily basis Adjusting machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure and amount of material for quality production Leads team in daily cleaning and maintenance of the machine Make sure the work environment remains uncluttered, clean and well-maintained to ensure safety Company Profile Viking Industries has specialized in the manufacturing of corrugated packaging and providing logistical solutions to its clients, for the past 52 years. Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of expereince working in manufacturing
