About The Position

A machine operator is responsible for set-up, operation, basic maintenance, and routine cleaning of their assigned machine. They ensure that the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly at the required capacity, and the machine is properly maintained.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, preferred
• Willing and eagerness to learn
• Strong work ethic
• Comfortable utilizing a computer
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs to shoulder height frequently throughout shift
• Mechanically inclined with experience using basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist on setup of new product; documenting all parameters and settings needed to run production.
• Set-up of equipment for production.
• Responsible for reporting any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Retrieve, stage, accurately verify formulas and lot numbers, and document ingredients used in Capsule batches.
• Operate Capsule equipment according to product manufacturing instructions to produce high quality products in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Thoroughly clean, sanitize and organize workspaces and shared facility areas as directed to maintain an efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation and environment.
• Complete and submit prescribed daily and/or weekly checklists of key facility equipment and utilities to ensure consistent and effective operation of manufacturing processes.
• Other duties as assigned
