Our dairy cooperative is seeking a regular, full-time Butter Machine Operator for third shift (11pm-7am). The Butter Operator will operate butter packaging equipment in an efficient and sanitary manner. Follow and understand production schedule and maintain facility in a sanitary manner, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) washing of equipment and cleaning of walls, floors and ceilings. Restock butter packaging materials to meet production and maintain materials in an appropriate, orderly fashion.

current or previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in the food industry

Responsibilities

Schedule flexibility -- willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays and rotate shift, as required based on business needs.
Operate, understand and troubleshoot butter packaging equipment including processing machinery and case packaging equipment.
Machine adjustments to meet required specifications.
Operate and set printers to ensure that U.S.D.A.# and “Sell By” dates are correct.
Ensure that proper packaging is used for each production item.
Complete and record necessary information on proper logs legibly, verifying that all required documents are filled out properly and are accurate in accordance with Safety and SQF procedures.
