Machine Operator- 3rd Shift- Sanford, NC
About The Position
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. ATTN Prior Tyson Workers: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. The pay for this position starts at $17.50/hr. with a $1.00 shift differential for 3rd Shift. Hours: 3rd Shift- 11:00pm-7:00am

Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of this position is to operate the machines in the Corn / Flour department.
- This involves closely monitoring, making necessary adjustments, and promptly reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead.
- Additionally, this role requires maintaining various log sheets.
- All team members are responsible for safety.
- Documenting and calculating results accurately.
- Taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product).
- Reporting results to management.
- Any additional assignments requested.
