About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. The role involves monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance, all while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Specifically, the primary responsibility is to operate machines in the Corn / Flour department, which includes closely monitoring, making necessary adjustments, and promptly reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead. Additionally, the role requires maintaining various log sheets.

Requirements

3 months work History with the same employer
Willing and able to perform physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems

Responsibilities

Operate machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process
Ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
Notify supervisor if machines should require maintenance
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Operate the machines in the Corn / Flour department
Closely monitor, make necessary adjustments, and promptly report any issues to the supervisor or lead
Maintain various log sheets
Document and calculate results accurately
Take corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product)
Report results to management
Perform any additional assignments requested
Be responsible for safety
