Position Summary The Night Shift II Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring production equipment to manufacture high-quality metal components in alignment with customer specifications and production schedules. This role supports night-shift production goals by maintaining workflow continuity during night shift hours, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards. This position is a hands-on role that works closely with Night II production team and must have strong commitment to safe manufacturing practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety standards.
- Interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
- Maintain production pace to meet or exceed nightly output targets while minimizing scrap and rework.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Learn the JRMW processes involved with the completion of assigned parts.
