The Production Machine Operator (6pm - 6am) is responsible for setting up and operating machinery. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all standards and specifications. The Production Machine Operator plays a crucial part in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and adhering to company values and safety guidelines. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Machine Setup: Ensure that machinery is set up according to the specifications outlined in the machine’s spec sheet. Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery including monitoring operation, machine adjustments and troubleshooting of equipment to meet required specifications. Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust machinery to meet quoted run times, ensuring production schedules are met without compromising quality. Quality Control: Verify that the products produced are within the required production specifications and quality standards. Record in-process data accurately to ensure continuous monitoring of product quality and production metrics. Document any deviations from quality standards and report them for corrective action. Maintenance Requests: Identify and report any equipment issues that affect production efficiency and create maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution. Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workspace. Data Entry: Perform data entry in SAP to document material usage and movement. Other duties as assigned.
