Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Machine Operator position requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications. The role involves operating and adjusting multiple semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations. Programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others. The operator should have knowledge of operations including drilling, boring, milling, and turning. They must recognize tooling and procedures where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain, and check parts for conformance to specifications.
Requirements
- Requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications, or equivalent
- Ability to use measurement devices
- Ability to change tools, manipulate machine program
Responsibilities
