REQUIREMENTS: JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY: Operator Role - Full-Time - Dallas, TX These positions start at $17.70/HR with a shift differential for 2nd shift & 3rd shift. This position is responsible for operating machinery includes ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Operator Roles may include: Blade Sharpener, Block Grinder Operator, Box Machine Operator, CEM Operator, CookHouse Operator, CVP Machine Operator, Dry Room Operator, Final Grinder Operator, Fresh Grinder Operator, Frozen Frinder Operator, Lowerator Operator, Machine Operator, Mixer Operator, Peeler Operator, Scaler, Spice Room Operator and Stuffer Machine Operator RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include, but are not limited to the following) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must have 3 months of employment history Required to operate touch illustrated operating panel, safeties, and switches. Small mechanical adjustments. Use handheld scanner. Must be willing and able to perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. Other duties as assigned. Must be willing and able to lift 20-67lbs occasionally and hold 5-77lbs continuously. Must be willing and able to push and pull rack on rail system ranging from 65lbs up to 1400lbs. Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 77lbs. Must be willing and able to perform repetitive motion of the shoulders, arms, and hands with up to 50 repetitions per minute. Must be willing and able to visually inspect product. Must be willing and able to work with different spices. Must be willing and able to work in cold and damp environments (22-40°F temperatures) for 8-10 hours per day. Must be willing and able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day. Must be willing and able to bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the day. Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently. Must be willing and able to work with both hands and arms simultaneously throughout the day. Must be willing and able to use hands, fingers, and wrists to grasp, pull, and flex. Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and/or stairs.
