About The Position

TempToFT 2 nd Shift Machine Operator Rate: $20/hr Hours: M-F 3:30pm-12am (OT may be required as needed and work until 2am) Will train on 1 st shift (7am-3:30pm-M-F up to 90 days) Mason, OH C-D Responsibilities: - Setup and operate machines, load/unload parts, and communicate changes and results (in writing and verbally) while adhering to a strict time schedule. - Inspect and verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary (micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators and CMMs. - Operate overhead crane or other lifting equipment when necessary. - Stand at least 95% of scheduled shift on raised platform. - Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. - Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. - Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. - Always take ownership and be accountable for your actions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Have basic mechanical aptitude
  • Must meet the ITAR definition of §120.15 U.S. person
  • Good mechanical aptitude and some "shop math" is required.
  • Ability to add and subtract decimals
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time
